Great Lakes Continuing Education - We can't just learn. We encourage. To do this, we have created a structured and well-designed educational curriculum experience, with a high level of attention to every small detail. All our passionate teachers teach in the same way to create a consistent and exceptional learning experience, no matter what course you are interested in.
I love the Great Lakes courses. They make it easy to understand and these skills are easily applied to patients by Monday morning!

From Great Lakes To Great Lakes
I really enjoy the ability to share my passion. I love making a difference in a patient's life and I want to share this joy with as many of them as possible. I feel very blessed every weekend that I get to spend with other professionals who are excited to learn. I am a better person and physiotherapist than any student I have met.
I have the privilege of teaching with Great Lakes Seminary, knowing that our field continues to be one of the most sought-after professions of our time. There is no shortage of people in pain, and our field continues to be one of the absolute top evidence-based methods for making a difference in many lives. Playing my role in leading the field in the classroom and in the lab to advance our knowledge and expertise to maximize outcomes for everyone we touch is a true blessing to me.

Scott graduated from Colorado State University in 1997 with a B.S. in exercise and sports science, a minor in anatomy and neurobiology, a concentration in health program management, and an emphasis in cardiac rehabilitation. He then moved to San Francisco and earned his CSCS under the (former) president of the National Strength and Conditioning Association while engaging in high-level athletic performance training. He received his Masters in Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Dayton, OH in 2000 and has since worked in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic. He began working with Great Lakes in 2004, and consistent with the Great Lakes philosophy uses a "Test, Treat, Retest" focus on each treatment to achieve maximum results with each patient. To determine the appropriate course. Scott is currently the clinical director of the physical therapy department at a multidisciplinary pain and wellness center in Boston's North Shore.
